threatening and kidnapping of Mr Sorabh Dhoundiyal (Branch Manager
CANARA BANK Gujrada Mansingh Sahastradhara Road Dehradun) on
22/07/2023.

As a routine procedure and as a prudent banker the Branch Manager on 21
07-2023 was calling default borrowers for recovery of the NPA/overdue loan
The acCused Mr Madan Nauityal is one of the default borrower amount
.When the branch manager called the said accused for the re payment of
overdue amount he in turn threatened the branch manager stating that “KOI
PAISE BAKAYA NAHI HAI, DUBARA CALL KIYA TO JAAN SE MAR DUNGA“

and branch head replied not to threaten him as he is only
performing his duty.
And, very next day on 22/07/2023 accused has sent 7 to 8 miscreant people
who entered in the branch threatening the security guard and pushing him
aside and started shouting where is branch mnanager and one among them
said we have come here on behalf of Madan Nautiyal who is working in ITI
Gujrada and they started yelling the un-parliamentary language with the
threatening cal| that he had committed 11 murders, one more murder would
not make any difference. This incident was happened when the branch head
was performing his duty on bank holiday being fourth Saturday i.e. 22-07
2023 on the instruction of competent authority. After this, the accused forcibly
made him to sit in their car and took him to ITI located in Gujrada Man Singh,
where Madan Nautiyal was already present. There Madan Nauityal also
threatened Branch Manager in a very slang language. One of his companion
gesture of showing life threatening weapons, and forced him to apologize in
the Principal room where all 7-8 goons were sitting. Seeing the present
scenario our colleague has no choice but to accept their threatening to made
him ten sit ups and touch the feet of Bank Borrower( Madan Nautiyal) to
safeguard his life and replica of the word as stated by the borrower ” TUNE
GALAT JAGAH HAATH DALA HAI AUR YE TERA AKHIRI DIN HOGA”
Whereas the borrower has again threatened saying the word” IS GHATNA KE
BARE MAI AGAR POLICE KO BATAYA TO JAAN SE HAATH DHo
BAITHEGA” with that threat they vandalize the bank property.
We as a Back Bone of financial stream of a nation are treated like a SCAPE
GOAT and the this horrifying incident has created scary atmosphere and no
banker is willing to work in such mental stature. As no action against the defaulters till date added fuel in the fury of bankers.

In view of the facts foresighted above we request necessary legal action and
immediate arrest of culprits.
