Today on the occassion of 38th foundation day of AIBOC .Mr Raj Kumar Thakuri-State Secretary-AIBOC Uttarakhand state Unit along with its all affiliates has celebrated the various programme after hoisting of flag.Mr Raj Kumar Thakuri and Mr Yashpal Singh Rana-Asstt.Treasurer-AIBOC, Uttarakhand state unit addressed the gathering and shared the history of AIBOC that
the 6th October 1985 is a day that will be remembered as an epoch making day in the annals of glorious history of banking trade
union movement – the Foundation Day of All India Bank Officers’ Confederation (AIBOC). The fledging organisation that took
birth that day has tenaciously spread its wings and today stands as a dominant, potent and formidable force in the entire
banking industry and is spearheading the battle against bank privatisation. The 38th foundation Day of All India Bank Officers’
Confederation is a reminder of the great legacy we inherited and the distance that we have traversed since 1985 to uphold
the dignity of the officers’ community, to espouse the cause of officers’ fraternity and to protect and expand their hard earned
rights. The path traversed was not strewn with petals; au contraire it was full of hurdles and roadblocks that was surmounted
by our visionary leaders of yesteryears.
AIBOC Uttarakhand state unit has organised a Mahila Self Help Group meeting and motivated them to join hands agaist the privatisation move of Govt. SHG members and customers has discussed about the various benefits of Nationalised Banks and Public Banks should not be privatized.
